Our home in Brooksdale

We have a delightful spot to call our own here at Brooksdale.
The main house of this hunting lodge had 8 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms on the second floor.  Recently 3 bedrooms and a bath were turned into a suite for the hosting couple.
That leaves 5 bedrooms and we have been given the biggest and nicest one of the 5.
Here is a little look at our room.

We took along our Lent symbols to put on our chest of drawers.

Most of the time this bed has my papers and boxes on it - I need a desk!

There is a short hallway that leads into our ensuite bathroom.
To the left you can see a glimmer of light coming from the closet.

The day we arrived Paul cut a bouquet of forsythia on their yard.
They have been looking beautiful on the bathroom vanity.

And now another look at our big window in the bedroom.
We love tie-back curtains.
It reminds us of the little 20x24 house we started building on our first anniversary!
Almost every window had tie-backs!

The view is always amazing.  These photos don't capture the rich colours.

An evening view through the window...

Good-bye and thanks for dropping in!
